Docuflat turns PDFs, scans, Word files, spreadsheets and images into clean Markdown, the plain-text format that AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini read best. It is run by hck.innovations, a business based in Kolkata, India (GSTIN 19AFFPT1454D1ZG).

Why we built it

Giving an AI assistant a PDF or a spreadsheet often wastes its limits on layout and page images, and scanned pages may not be read at all. Converting the document to Markdown first keeps the words, headings, lists and tables, uses far fewer tokens, and lets you check exactly what the assistant will see.

How it works

• Private by design. Conversion and OCR run inside your own browser. Your documents are never uploaded to our servers.
• 100+ OCR languages. Scanned pages and photos are read in Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Tamil and every major Indian script, plus English, Arabic, Chinese and many more.
• Free to start. Anyone can convert files every day without an account. A free account raises the daily limits, and Docuflat Pro removes them.

Plans and payments

Pro is available monthly, yearly or as a 24-hour pass. Prices are in Indian rupees and include 18% GST, and every payment comes with a GST invoice by email. Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. See pricing, our refund and cancellation policy and our delivery policy.
