Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Docuflat (https://docuflat.com/), operated by hck.innovations (GSTIN 19AFFPT1454D1ZG), 22, Kenderdine Lane, Kolkata, West Bengal 700012, India. By using Docuflat you agree to them.

1. The service

Docuflat converts documents (PDF, images, Word, Excel and similar files) into text and Markdown. Conversion runs in your web browser. We do not receive or store the contents of your files.

2. Accounts

• You must give a valid email address and keep your password safe. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• You must be at least 18, or use Docuflat with a parent's or guardian's permission.
• We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, try to bypass limits, or break these terms.

3. Free and paid plans

• Free use is subject to daily limits shown on the pricing page. We may change free limits at any time.
• Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your account page; Pro continues until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Prices are in Indian rupees and include GST. We may change prices for future billing periods with notice by email. Price changes don't affect a period you've already paid for.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. We don't store your card or bank details.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to your documents and the converted output. You confirm you have the right to process the files you convert. Don't use Docuflat for unlawful content.

5. Accuracy

OCR and conversion are automated and can contain errors, especially with poor scans, handwriting or complex layouts. Check important output before you rely on it. Docuflat is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, hck.innovations is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

7. Advertising

Free use is supported by ads, including Google AdSense. Pro users don't see ads.

8. Changes and law

We may update these terms and will post the new version here. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in Kolkata, West Bengal have jurisdiction.
